We woke up quite early on Saturday morning. Ella did a great job sleeping for 10 hours!! Since we didn't start our meetings until Sunday morning, we spent the afternoon walking around in Waikiki and having a picnic in a park. It was a beautiful day. We aren't going to be in Honolulu much after this week, so we thought that it would be fun to spend the day around the town! Ella sure enjoyed herself! :)

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing - Photo Books

Time with Family in Myrtle Beach

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfbAXghy74Q/SAdiDaVpZ1I/AAAAAAAAALw/G6irPAuN9nU/s320/ella+140.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190224906317031250" />Mom, Dad and Lori came down to see us while we were having a meeting in North Myrtle Beach. Welcome to the World!

Well folks, for we are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our little girl, Ella! We couldn't be more overwhelmed with God's kindness to us in this small blessing. Unfortunately, I could not add pictures to this post. I haven't had problems with this before, so if anyone can help give me some advice as to what I could do about adding pictures, that would be great. In the meantime, check out this link for pictures of our Ella. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=8083&l=5e86d&id=510858854

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://aaronandstephcoffey.blogspot.com/2007/09/announcing-isabella-mercy-welcome-to.html' title='Announcing Isabella Mercy!!! It is a beautiful lively little girl who already enjoys sucking her thumb. How cute it was to see her put her thumb in her little mouth. AHhhhhhhhhhhhh.....and of course, i just loved to watch her little tummy go up and down with her hiccups. Can you believe that they actually get hiccups in the womb and they don't even breathe air yet? We were about an hour and a half away from my grandparents, so we took two days throughout our week there to spend time with them. My grandpa is very sick with cancer and is going through chemo and radiation. Since we were in the area, we wanted to make sure that we spent as much time with them as we could. Please pray for my grandpa, Bill Tichenor, for his physical and spiritual state.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfbAXghy74Q/Ri1m5a9HVJI/AAAAAAAAABo/RYi7jURBvtU/s320/DSC01645.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5056811093281166482" />
When I was a little girl we lived about 15 minutes from where our meetings were taking place. My mom and dad lived next to Terry and DeeDee MacGuire for that time. They came to know the Lord while they were neighbors with us. They are dear friends that love the Lord and have been faithful. I haven't seen them in a very long time, and they came to see our Irish Concert last Friday night. He did a week long of ministry there at Harvest Baptist Ministries. Throughout the week he spoke to the students in their school (check out the added link) http://www.hbcguam.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=148&Itemid=3 , spoke at their Bible Institute, preach in their church, and have various other ministry opportunities. And on top of the blessing of ministering throughout the week, Aaron was able to spend some quality time with Kevin Inafuku and the Herron family! We were there for four days staying with them. Aaron and Barry went out at 5 in the morning, came in for a few hours at lunchtime, and then went back out again until dark. He loved being outside...he was excited to even see a squirrel! :) After three days of seeing nothing, he saw a buck on Day 3. He nailed this little 8 pointer with his awesome, new bow. We kept some of the meat and cooked up the tenderloins for breakfast with his family.
The next morning (Day 4), Aaron went duck hunting for the first time in his life. He shot one on his first try and enjoyed the different aspect of hunting wildlife. His mom prepared the breasts for dinner the next day. Dinner was provided by Coffey, Inc. It was picked up last week, and we moved into it on October 12. What a wonderful feeling....to put our clothes away in our own closet and stick the suitcases in storage!!! I tried to convince Aaron to burn them, but he declined the suggestion.

The last four days have been so different. We are parked right next the church and right behind our neighbors, Will and Christy. How fun for us to be right next to them! It has been a blessing for us to be so close to the church, and we can already see a big difference in how our trailer will give us longevity for more ministry.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. God has abundantly provided more than we could ever imagine. It has been a blessing to us as we have stepped out in faith and waited and prayed for God to work His will concerning this venture of our ministry. The church there owns property that they use a camp. It was absolutely beautiful. A bunch of families from the church got together and had a picnic/cookout around a campfire. Then after we were all done, we went on a hike through the woods and got to take in the full Canada scenery. Our meeting went really well with the church there, and we saw many visitors come out to the services. Aaron and I enjoyed having the opportunity to serve in a church as a couple. The Lord really blessed, and we saw the church encouraged.
We stayes with some people whose daughter was an avid horsewoman. She took us on a road one morning. We had so much fun. My horse was always behind, because it kept stopping to eat! Tim Horton's is Canada's equivalent of our Starbucks....although there was a Starbucks in one of the city's that we were in. Tim Horton's is like a really, really good Dunkin' Donuts, except it also serves lunch stuff. Will and Christy and us frequented Timmy's quite a bit! :)
While ministering in Brandon, Manitoba, Aaron ran a Cola Wars with the youth group. The visitors more than doubled the normal number of teens in the youth group. It was very exciting to see the fruit of the teens' invitations to their friends as well as those who we talked to during our canvassing time. One girl got saved whose parents have been visiting the church in the last month or so. Pastor Mike VerWay is the pastor there. Aaron and I had been at the church two years ago while traveling with Steve Pettit, so it was fun to go back and minister with people that we had met before. They also bring many families to Family Camp at Northland Camp each summer too!

The church had many evangelistic thrusts during the week. Christy and I were involved in a Ladie's Luncheon, we all helped out with the Irish Concert, and then on Friday night they had "upscale" desserts and 10!! different gourmet coffees. Aaron and I were just living it up! :)

Throughout the week we took the teens canvassing, often in rainy weather, to invite the teens in the community to our Mission Impossible teen outreach. The teens were faithful each day and despite the rain, we had a great time getting the word out! On Wednesday, we had the activity and saw God bring in some visitors. There were a few teens that accepted Christ that night!

The children's program went great and we saw around 7 kids come to know the Lord. It was exciting to see some children that had sat through many nights of the Gospel accept Christ toward the end of the week. Some of them were visitors of the kids from the church. One was a nephew of a lady who attends the church.

A great week at Victory Baptist!

A few weeks ago, we ministered with Pastor and Mrs. Mohler at Victory Baptist in Rochester, MN. Will and Christy have been to this church for meetings a few years ago. A lady received Christ in one of the services, and on Sunday morning she was there along with her saved husband. It was encouraging to see the fruit of someone's love for that family, and how God used His Word to draw them into Himself and keep them growing. What a blessing!!!

Through the week, we had a girl that was newer in the youth group bring out her friend each night to the service. Throughout the week, Casey brought her friend to the preservice and service. She got saved on Wednesday night and was very excited to know a God who loves her. Aaron enjoyed spending time with the church's youth pastor, Chad Mohler. He and his wife Melissa are doing a great job with the teens, and our fellowship with them was a great encouragment.

Amidst the ministry in their church, Aaron still found a way to use his deer spotter (which was a birthday gift from me!). It always makes our traveling fun when we pull over on the side of the road and pull out the spotter and binoculars to get our fill of the deer season!! :)

Anna Grace's First Day of School

Anna Grace and I started our first day of school last Monday. Pastor Morris Bender had us come and minister at their church all day Sunday and help Pastor Dave Bender run a two-night Cola War outreach. It was a great week. Aaron preached in a Highschool chapel and some Bible classes. I actually did my first elementary chapel and really enjoyed the opportunity.

We organized a few canvassing opportunities at some of the local middle and highschools. We would position ourselves near the school during the lunch hour and when the bell rung for dismissal. It was great to see the kids get involved and hand out many flyers throughout the week.

Our first night we had around 90 kids. The youth group was pretty excited to see some of their own unsaved friends come out to the activity. Pastor Dave Bender preached on the first night, and three teens received Christ. On the second night we had a lower crowd. It began to rain right as we started the registration time, but we still had a crowd of around 60. There is a large population of Hmong people in Green Bay, and we had a good number of kids from the church's Hmong ministry come out for the activity. Aaron preached on the second night, and three more teens received Christ. We were excited to see God answer prayer and use the means of Cola Wars to bring out unsaved teens to hear the Gospel!

Our week at Maranatha!

We had a great week at Maranatha last week. Will spoke throughout the week and really emphasized a personal pursuit of God. We could tell that many people were praying, because Will really felt liberty in the pulpit and had God's power in his preaching. Our music went extremely well considering that we had not been playing/singing together throughout the summer that much. We could really tell that people were diligent in praying for us throughout last week by how well the music went, the response to the messages and the opportunities to interact with the students. Stephanie and I both got the chance to speak in the dorms for a dorm meeting, and Will and I were able to meet with students throughout the day for counseling. On Tuesday night, Trevor and DeeDee Gearhart came down and had a Camp get-together after one of the services. It was good to see everyone again after camp ended and encourage them to keep running! We could see God at work, because the students and faculty/staff had such a tender spirit after Dr. Jasper's resigning. God really used this time in the school's life to bring into focus His love and sovereignty. The Lord worked in many sutdents' hearts to surrender for full-time Christian service. Praise the Lord for what He has done!

We're praying about getting a trailer!

We are praying for God to provide funds for us to purchase a trailer for our ministry. We travel in full-time evangelism with Will and Christy Galkin. Since we don't have a trailer yet, we just stay in people's homes while we're on the road. The last couple of weeks have been exciting to see the Lord begin to provide money to purchase the trailer. Today we received more money towards our trailer!!! Now, we're praying for our car to sell. Please pray along with us as we eagerly await God's work in providing what we need in His time!
